Creatures guide
The Sims 2:
Alien- you cannot become an alien, you have to give birth to one. To give birth to an alien you have to get abducted when stargazing with your telescope(has to be the expensive one).
The abducted Sim has to be an adult male in order to become pregnant. Your Sim will give birth to it three days after he got abducted. The birth will also feature a special birth cut scene.
Age:all ages
Pros:
-cool look, to be more specific, a green skin tone and completely black eyes, they are partially hereditary
Cons:
-well there are no cons since they're completely normal Sims, just with a different look
University:
Zombie- to become a zombie you have to die first of all. Then you have to have the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, the paranormal career reward.
After that your active Sim has to call Grimmy and pay him little money for the resurrection. To be more specific, from 987 to 4127 Simoleons.
Age:teen and older
Pros:
-no aging, however if your Sim was a teen when he became a zombie, he will age when he goes to university and when he graduates or gets expelled from university, but then he will be stuck in the adult stage of life
-special portraits which look quite freaky
-zombie teens get a special undead scholarship
-unique blueish-pale skin tone
Cons:
-cannot have babies, although they can still adopt one and they can woohoo
-can't walk, run or skip but instead they always drag they're feet across the floor
-'zombie personality' that is they're completely sloppy, a little shy, quite lazy, very serious and completely grouchy
-all zombies lose 6 points for every skill when they're resurrected
-frequent thoughts of brains and sometimes talk about brains, they're also bad at socializing with other sims
-you can't cure a zombie
Nightlife:
Vampire- to become a vampire you have to get bitten by a vampire. There are four grand vampires lurking downtown. They will only appear downtown at night. You have to befriend with one of them in order to get bitten. You will recognise them with the beginning of their names that's Count or Countessa and some Gothic clothes.
Once your controllable Sim is a vampire, you can direct them to bite other Sims if you have a high enough relationship with them, while knowledge Sims have a higher acceptance rate than other Sims.
Age:teen and older
Pros:
-no aging
-needs don't decay at night and when they're asleep in their coffin, however their needs will decay if doing certain things, such as working out, then they're hygiene will drop
-two new ways to walk and those are to fly and stalk
-vampirism can be cured by buying the Vamprocilin-D potion from the Gypsy matchmaker and drinking it
-special portraits which look quite creepy
-no reflections in the mirror, they also have a special reaction to the primp self-interaction
-teen vampires also get a special scholarship, but the description is like they're a zombie
-red eyes and a special skin tone
-unique social interactions, such as the Irritate...Bleh!!! interaction
-Peek At option with the coffin is a vampire is sleeping inside. The vamp will awake and scare your sims(maybe even to death) if his energy need is more than 50%, your sim will just peek at get creeped out if the energy need is below 50%
Cons:
-they can't stand sunlight, even if your vampire is in the house it's needs will decay faster than usual and if your vampire is out on the sunlight, it's needs will drop very fast and he will eventually die. To make sure your vampire doesn't suffer during the day, you can buy him a coffin where it's needs will freeze during the day.
Open For Business:
Servo- your Sim can make a servo once it has a gold robotic talent badge. You order your sim to make him on the robot crafting station. A servo can be initialized as a male or a female.
A servo will have maxed out cooking, mechanical and cleaning skill as it is meant to do chores around the house. The other skills, personality, turn ons, turn offs and aspiration will resemble to the Sim that initialized it. A servo will also get 2 completely random talent badges.
Servo is completely controllable like any other Sim.
Age:Servos are always adults
Pros:
-no aging
-only 4 need bars: environment, fun, social and the one unique to servos, power. This one works just like the energy bar and is recharged by the sun. Therefore your servos can work nonstop without needing to worry about their needs for hunger, hygiene, bladder etc.
-will do chores around the house if free will is turned on, these chores include cooking, repairing and cleaning things.
-maxed out cleaning, cooking and mechanical skills
-unique interactions, such as the Flirt...Tune up interaction
-can become zombies, vampires and werewolves
Cons:
-must never come in touch with water or else their needs will drop very fast
-may start to run amok if they're needs are very low and by that, they start running around the house electrocuting your Sims. They can be turned off in this state. After that, your Sim or the repairman has to repair them. If your servo is living alone and he is broken, then he can use his internal cellphone to call then repairman which can only be used in this case
-can't have babies although they can woohoo and adopt, your Sims also get a special memory for woohooing with servos.
Pets:
Werewolf- In order to become a werewolf, you have to get bitten by a wolf with glowing eyes, that is the Leader of the Pack.
The Leader will randomly come at night. Chances improve if your lot has trees, bushes, weeds, babies or toddlers and other wolves. When he comes, you have to befriend with him, in order for him to nibble you. You will then be a werewolf from 20 h to 6 h.
Your Sim can also become a werewolf by receiving the savage interaction from another werewolf Sim. Adults can't savage teens and vice-versa as it is actually a fight. Savaging a Sim will severely damage the relationship and make the savaged Sim furious.
Age:teen and older
Pros:
-special non-selectable walk, they lope
-gain a full energy bar when transformed
-gain one body skill point every time they transform
-train pets faster than normal Sims do, whether or not they're transformed
-yellow-canine eyes and a very hairy body, special hair
-will always win a burglar fight, and they will retreat all the stolen items
-unique interactions, such as the Howl self-interaction
-Lycanthropy can be cured, by buying the Lycanthropy-B potion from the obedience trainer, or the gypsy matchmaker and drinking it
-special portraits which look quite scary, however Sims will have their normal portraits during the day
-higher chance of petting a skunk, without getting sprayed
-can summon other wolves with the Summon Wolves ground interaction, the wolves may attract the Leader Of The Pack
Cons:
-werewolf Sims personalities changes towards a werewolf one, the more you're a werewolf. The traits are becoming fully sloppy, outgoing, active, playful and grouchy. The traits don't become normal once Lycanthropy is cured. Instead, they stay like they were.
-they age
-hunger drops when transformed
-can't change their appearance while in werewolf form, due to overgrown hair
Seasons:
PlantSim- becoming a PlantSim is easy, yet quite hard. That is, your Sim has to spray a lot of plants in order to become one. It may sound easy, but trees and plants don't get pests so often, and they need to have pests so that you could spray them.
The best time then would be Summer, as that's the season when your plants get attacked by bugs. Also make sure your plants aren't in a greenhouse or near a ladybug nest.
Then, after spraying about 30 times or more, your Sim should become a PlantSim. :-D
Age: toddler(only by spawning), adult and elder
Pros:
-only 3 needs; Sunlight, Water and Love. Sunlight is similar to the Energy need, just go outside on the sun to recharge it(or stand below the Garden Lamp), Water is similar to Hunger, just expose your Sim to any kind of water in order to replenish it(eg. rain, shower, a drink, a puddle etc.) and the Love need is exactly as Social, any kind of social interactions replenish it
-only 3 life stages; Toddler, Adult and Elder. Is valuable only if you spawned a PlantBaby and raised it. Good; it is an effective way to get adult Sims quicker, for whatever reason you need them
-automatically gain a gold talent badge in Gardening upon transformation, which stays even if cured
-ability to spawn babies with the Grow PlantBaby self.interaction (in case you're wondering, yes, they can actually have twins )
-unique interactions, such as the Prank...Spore In The Face interaction
-PlantBabies know how to walkand talk without being taught, but they don't know how to potty (the reason is probably because they can't potty), they also inherit the whole personality and skill points from their parents
-a unique outfit made out of leaves and Peter Pan style like 'slippers', unique hair; leaves with spores for adults/elders and a daisy for toddlers, a green skin tone with a beautiful plant like pattern and yellow-greenish eyes
-Spores of Happiness self-interaction which boosts other Sim's needs but does not deplete the PlantSim's needs, handy substitute for Rally Forth
-they can be cured, buy the Plantopic-C potion from the Garden Club or the Gypsy Matchmaker and drink it
-overheating doesn't affect them
Cons:
-only 3 life stages; Toddler, Adult and Elder. Is valuable only if you spawned a PlantBaby and raised it. Bad; you have less time for just about everything(eg. skills, talent badges, friendship, work etc.), not to mention the inability to go to college, they even have a shorter adult lifespan; 26 days
-can faint from lack of sunlight, if they faint inside a house, then you need to replenish the need with the Garden Lamp
-they age
NOTE:No creatures, except aliens are hereditary. That includes PlantSims, unless you spawned a baby.
