How many of you still have the original sims installed on your computer? I dont but I have been tempted to install it again lately, but I would proably get bored with it after playing the sims2 and the sims Life stories.

I've just removed the Sims 1 from my computer. It's not that I didn't play it often enough..cuz I did..it's just that my computer couldn't take it anymore. I don't think I'll reinstall The Sims 1.. because it's just..boring me.. The graphics are that low, the children never grow up..and I think most objects are kinda lame... I did love it back in the day though

I actually just reinstalled it last weekend. I played for a bit, but the inability to zoom in good and the limited camera angles hurts my eyes. It still a fun game but it really makes me appreciate TS2 that much more. I do miss alot of the objects from Sims though. Oh what I wouldnt give to have some of those things in TS2 like the scuba tank, the spiral stairs, the teleporter, etc... Oh! and the lots in TS1 load in like seconds... which rocks. Anyways, I will still play it but not as much as I play TS2 though. ;D

Ya. The good ol' sims. The reason I still keep the original sims is because of the expansion packs. Like Superstar, Vacation and Magic. Remember those tickets you earned and you could buy special prizes and get awards. Ah well. i hope Maxis does something better.

OK, I will be admitting I am some weirdo here, but I ONLY play Sims 1...and I have Sims 2, just haven't installed it on my computer.
Is S2 really better? When I first heard about it, I thought it would be fantastic, but for some reason I keep finding more and more ways and things to play S1....
I guess I am just behind the times, even when I discovered S1, it must have been out for at least 2 years-lol.

TS2 really is so much better than TS1. You should give it a try! I promise you wont be disapointed. There are so many new features in TS2 including the aging process and now weather with Season. Just give it a go! Install and see what you have been missing And if you have any questions, feel free to post it in the help section! You are sure to get an answer quickly. ;D
